Purify media and protect our kids.

Principal Neal’s call has raised a long-overdue issue: Protecting our kids from dangerous social media exposure, particularly explicit images.

From ancient paintings and sculptures to modern art, our children have always been exposed to and embraced healthy body images, graceful body language, and positive social behavior. We must strive to return to these values.

However, the rapid advancement of AI has presented a new challenge. The widespread availability of explicit images has distorted our children’s perception of normal adolescent behavior, making it hard for them to discern healthy ways to express love and cope with physical and mental pressures.

Australian E-safety Commissioner Grant has cautioned that parents are not prepared for this challenge, emphasizing that it requires a society-wide effort to cleanse the media. Through the implementation of legislation, we can safeguard our children and help shape their healthier futures.
